CODEXDEUS VENTURE STUDIO

Build Software. Build Companies.

CodexDeus is an Austin software development and venture studio. We build complete software for paying clients, selectively co-build companies with qualified partners, and develop ventures of our own.

Choose The Right Path

Clear economics for every kind of relationship.

Paid work and venture partnerships are evaluated differently, documented separately, and never blurred together.

Paid software development

A client pays for one focused software product. The standard engagement is $20,000 fixed and delivered within two months. This is the normal path when you want CodexDeus to build the product for your business.

Selective studio partnerships

CodexDeus may co-build when a founder brings more than an idea: customers, revenue, distribution, audience, valuable rights, industry access, or deep operating knowledge. Structures may combine cash with equity, revenue participation, or shared ownership.

CodexDeus-owned ventures

CodexDeus identifies a recurring problem, develops the company and initial product, and may bring in operators, collaborators, customers, or capital while retaining meaningful ownership.

Partnership Standard

Bring an advantage—not only an idea.

CodexDeus partnerships are for founders and operators who already control something difficult to recreate: customer access, revenue, distribution, an audience, specialized rights, proprietary knowledge, or a trusted position inside a market.

  • A committed operator who will own the business side of the company
  • Evidence of demand through customers, revenue, contracts, audience, distribution, or credible market access
  • A specific recurring problem with a focused first product
  • Cash participation sufficient to cover development risk; CodexDeus does not accept equity-only builds
  • Clear ownership of the underlying idea, content, data, brand, and other intellectual property
  • Fast decisions, direct access to users, and willingness to test the product in the market

Austin Venture Ecosystem

A builder that complements founders and investors.

CodexDeus can support portfolio companies, evaluate technical risk, turn validated workflows into software, and help strong operators reach production. Public event participation and hackathon results do not imply funding or endorsement by Capital Factory, Antler, or any other organization.

For founders and operators

Bring a real market advantage and a focused company-building opportunity. CodexDeus brings product judgment, technical execution, deployment, and operating experience.

For VCs and strategic partners

Refer portfolio companies for paid builds, introduce qualified studio opportunities, or start a technical diligence and product-execution conversation.

FAQ

Direct answers.

Is CodexDeus a software agency or a venture studio?

Both. CodexDeus provides paid software development and also operates as a selective venture studio. Paid builds are the standard path; studio partnerships and owned ventures are selected separately.

Will CodexDeus build my idea for equity?

No. An idea by itself is not enough for a studio partnership, and CodexDeus does not provide unpaid or equity-only development. Strong partnership candidates bring validated demand, distribution, revenue, customers, rights, or unusual domain access, plus cash participation.

Does CodexDeus invest in companies?

CodexDeus may selectively invest its own time, software, relationships, or capital when the opportunity fits. CodexDeus is not currently presenting itself as a venture fund or soliciting outside investment capital.

Where should a founder start?

If you primarily need software built, contact CodexDeus about the paid $20,000 development engagement. If you already have meaningful traction or distribution and want a true company-building partner, send a separate studio proposal explaining what you bring and why CodexDeus is the right partner.

Start With The Truth

Tell us what you need—and what you bring.

For paid development, send the users, workflow, budget, and target launch date. For a studio partnership, also include traction, distribution, founder commitment, ownership, and proposed economics.
