College Technology Internships
An eight-week educational technology internship for current college and university students age 18 or older in Austin and Central Texas. CodexDeus is not accepting high-school internship applications at this time.
Program
An eight-week educational technology internship.
The internship can be for college credit or not for credit, depending on the student's preference and institutional requirements.
College students, age 18+
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled at a college or university. CodexDeus is not accepting high-school internship applications at this time.
Hands-on technology work
Interns may help with QA testing, research, documentation, product notes, workflow mapping, data cleanup, AI prompt experiments, and small supervised software tasks.
Educational format
The program is currently planned as an unpaid educational internship. The final arrangement must satisfy applicable requirements and will be confirmed in writing before a placement begins. College credit may be possible through the student’s institution.
College Recruiting
Austin, Round Rock, San Marcos, Georgetown, and Central Texas.
The primary local recruiting pool is larger than UT Austin. St. Edward's, Huston-Tillotson, Concordia Texas, Austin Community College, Texas State, and Southwestern are all in or near the Austin corridor. Texas A&M students are welcome to apply, but College Station is a regional rather than local market.

Can the internship count for college credit?
It may count for college credit when the student’s institution approves the arrangement. The student is responsible for coordinating forms, faculty sponsorship, deadlines, and other credit requirements with the college or university.
How long is the internship program?
The default program is 8 weeks, with practical work around software, AI, automation, QA, documentation, product research, and founder-led technology operations.
Which students are the best fit?
The best fit is a current undergraduate or graduate student age 18 or older who communicates clearly, follows through, can work carefully, and is curious about software, AI, product work, or startups. A computer science major is not required.
Can high-school students apply?
Not at this time. The current CodexDeus internship program is limited to college and university students who are at least 18 years old.
